100% of the proceeds go to Malawi - Mbamba Village Kande
100% Malawi is committed to helping the vulnerable and disadvantaged residents of the village of Mbamba Village Kande, with approximately 5,000 inhabitants, provide them with their basic needs: maize, sugar, soap, and beds. We want to help them reach the already low standard of living of the rest of the population.
We also want to purchase blankets and mattresses where necessary for the aforementioned vulnerable individuals (read: broken families, AIDS patients, the blind, orphans, etc.). They currently sleep on plastic sheets on the often damp ground.
We want to train farmers to harvest at least twice as much. This will allow us to later lease 4,000 square meters of land and expand our operations, avoiding the need to buy food or other supplies. How great would that be!
We are also building a house to provide shelter for the elderly, while also caring for the young children who are out of school. It will also serve as a warehouse for our supplies and a small office where people in need can report and be assessed.
The final goal is to send a container of clothing and possibly household goods every year. This seems easy, but is very expensive due to the long, overland transport on poor roads.

Objective in consultation with the village elderly people and the town medicine man/doctor about the most urgent needs of the village, we want to sponsor the following products for the village:
Food supply - corn and sugar Sanitary supplies -

Beds/mattresses
Agricultural education in collaboration with an experienced local party

Parents who just died of aids, they were not even a year and a half and now also infected with HIV. I myself just became a grandfather and what a huge contrast! We will also support these little guys! and will keep you informed of their developments.
